WINNING BEST DOCUMENTARY REINFORCES GLOBAL RELEVANCE THROUGH LOCAL IDEAS OF "SAVING WALDEN'S WORLD"

"Saving Walden's World," is gaining acceptance into a number of global film festivals, and just won BEST DOCUMENTARY at the Five Continents international Film Festival!
​The goal of any film is to have an audience. In the case of "Saving Walden's World," a film we at World View helped shoot and produce, the additional objective is to INSPIRE ACTION. To do that, the film must be engaging & relevant. This film addresses global challenges at the grass roots level, through a very personal journey of the director, Jim Merkel and his family.
Film festivals help test that relevance, first through their acceptance of the film, then by showing it to new audiences, and getting audience and panel feedback. Each step is an honor, but when the results come back as positive as they are, it is very exciting and validates the present & future forward message in the film.
