Curriculum and In-class Best Practices
Since the mid-80's, we have traveled the world helping develop curriculum-based products, teacher training, and adoption marketing videos.
We've captured and told best-practice stories, from students and teachers modeling math manipulatives in the classroom to master educators making a difference every day. We've created intriguing informational programs, from dramatic biographies of historical literary figures to day-in-the-life documentaries with children in Ghana. Whether your students are children, adults, or anyone in between, we help provide solutions that inspire learning. |

Today, Everyday Mathematics is a comprehensive Pre-K through 6th grade math program used in more than 220,000 classrooms across the United States. In the curriculum's nascent days at the University of Chicago, highly-respected educational producer LeAnne Sawyers brought in the World View team. Traveling the country, we enjoyed countless hours in classrooms documenting early adopters. LeAnne produced the first-phase videos, then handed production and direction to us. World View developed the next series of best-practice videos, which helped guide and inspire teachers new to Everyday Mathematics, and marketed the program nationwide.

Many of the math manipulatives found in the Everyday Math program were created by Hand2Mind (then ETA Cuisenaire). It was a natural progression to bring us into the mix when ETA wanted to inform and educate their audience of teachers on the best ways to engage their students.
|
When McGraw Hill Education purchased Everyday Math, they brought in World View to continue to share best practices being used by teachers around the country. The material was plugged into an on-line training program for new adoptees to access 24/7/365.
